32. Workshop: Poetry Workshop

This class is intended for students who would like to learn and practice writing poetry. Each week, students will learn about a type of poetry and write their own in that style. They will also receive feedback from the instructor. By the end of the course, students will have a collection of 10-25 poems. These would be ready to submit to fall contests, including Scholastic, if the student desired. Starts the first Monday of every month and runs for 4 weeks.  Assignments will be weekly, due each Friday at midnight, EST,  Classes are designed to take about 2-3 hours per week.
