30. Workshop: Introduction to Academic Essays

This class is intended for students who would like to improve their academic writing skills, particularly in writing a strong thesis and organizing a well-developed essay. Students will get practice in thesis writing, developing strong outlines, and creating full length essays. Assignments will be weekly, due each Friday at midnight, EST.  Classes start the first Monday of each month and run for 4 weeks.

Classes are designed to take about 2-3 hours per week.

    Write From the Heart

    Write from the Heart is an online composition and literature program designed for homeschoolers in middle and high school. We offer annual classes in composition, literature, and AP English. We also offer 4-week Workshop Intensives and a paper evaluation service for students in all educational environments. Our goal is to help students find their voices and grow in writing and critical thinking skills.
