35. Workshop: Analyzing Persuasive Arguments

This class is intended for students who are interested in recognizing the persuasive elements in everyday life. Students will learn about the parts of persuasion, the use of fallacies, the role that bias plays, and will have an opportunity to analyze real-life examples. Classes start the first Monday of every month and runs for 4 weeks. Assignments will be weekly, due each Friday at midnight, EST. Classes are designed to take about 2-3 hours per week. For grades 9-12.

Write from the Heart is an online composition and literature program designed for homeschoolers in middle and high school. We offer annual classes in composition, literature, and AP English. We also offer 4-week Workshop Intensives and a paper evaluation service for students in all educational environments. Our goal is to help students find their voices and grow in writing and critical thinking skills.
