Draw and Explore Social Studies: Musical Instruments Around the World (ebook)

The Draw and Explore Social Studies series is a great way to combine art and social studies. A short description of ten different musical instruments from around the world is given. Each is followed by an image of the instrument on a grid. Next, students can do one or both of the assignments that follow. They can draw half of the instrument in a grid that shows half of the picture, or they can draw the entire instrument on an empty grid. Ten review questions and an answer key are also included. Musical instruments included are the balalaika, crwth, gandingan, Hulusi, khene, kokle, pandeiro, saron, thavil, and volynka. 26 pages total. Click to see a preview.
